The original 1800 Register was started by Fran Stuart in 1976. It was a small group in NYC and later merged with Volvo Sports America in 1978. This formed Volvo Sports America 1800. After several years Fran and a group of Connecticut members split with VSA and started Volvo Club of America in 1982. At that time the 1800 Register fell into disuse. I joined VSA in 1981 and later found out about Fran's Work. I obtained more data over the years at meets. With other information I found in parts manuals and books, I set up the existing data base.

Due to the change in focus at VSA and their recent lack of technical support, I and several 1800 enthusiasts are reactivating the 1800 Register. We will endeavor to provide the 1800 owner with access to Technical and parts information.

We want to keep as many of the 1800's on the road and out of the scrap heap. There will be no ads, only a listing of your business. If you are looking to buy an 1800, ads for these will be free. All information must be emailed.

Keep ‘em Rolling,
Robert Foltz
